Schoolgirl Suffers Serious Injuries In Caia Park Collision

A 12 year old schoolgirl has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in the Caia Park area of Wrexham this morning.

The incident happened near the bus stop in Abenbury Road at 8.26am where the girl was hit by a black Vauxhall Corsa.

Four police cars and two ambulance crews attended the scene and the girl has since been taken to Wrexham Maelor hospital where she is being treated for head injuries.

The road is expected to be closed for the next few hours.
