The countdown to Christmas has begun and this weekend sees the arrival of a special guest in the town.

Saturday 1st December will see the opening of Santa’s Grotto, which will be based this year in Tŷ Pawb.

Santa will be there making spirits bright everyday up until 4pm on Christmas Eve, when he’ll be dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh, to start his night shift.

It will cost £4.50 to meet the man himself and his helpers and you’ll also receive a “lovely gift”.

Opening times of the Grotto are:

Monday – Friday: 2pm–6pm

Saturday – Sunday and Christmas Eve: 11am – 4pm

The opening of Santa’s Grotto is one of series of Christmas events taking place in town during December – details of which can be found here.
