Salop Road reopens following collision

Police have confirmed a town centre road has reopened following a collision earlier this evening.

The incident, which is believed to have involved a cyclist and a car, took place at the junction between Salop Road and St Giles Way.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area while emergency services attended the scene. However police have confirmed that the road has now reopened.

Police are in attendance and are advising people to avoid the area.
