Link Road Partially Blocked After Wagon Overturns

Work is currently underway on recovering a wagon which overturned on the Wrexham link road earlier this afternoon.

At around 2:12pm this afternoon emergency services were informed of an incident involving a white wagon which had overturned on its side near the Golf Club / link road roundabout on the A534 Wrexham Road.

Traffic is reported as moving very slow in the area as a result of the incident and there are reports of traffic being diverted / managed.

Laurenriley Goddard tweeted to say: “Lorry toppled over on roundabout by Waterways Garden Centre/ Holt Lodge! Once again. AVOID the A534 roundabout. Lorry toppled over. Police on scene.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said there aren’t believed to be any injuries as a result of the incident.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service have also been informed about the incident. The Highway Agency have also been notified.

As of 4:05pm North Wales Police have tweeted to say that recovery of the overturned wagon is now under way.
