Police have launched a witness appeal after what they described as a ‘serious RTC’ at around 9:45pm involving a blue Ford Fiesta and Audi A5 on Heritage Way.

Anyone with any information is urged to call North Wales Police via the 101 number, with reference number S181313.

Emergency services attended the collision with number of people contacted Wrexham.com reporting the incident on the Brymbo Link Road, which resulted in the closure of Heritage Way.

Both North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service attended the incident, with reports the fire service were also required.

Kels told us that ‘Heritage way (brymbo cric link road”) is closed from the Brymbo turning to roundabout.

The incident is the third to have taken place on the stretch of road in the past month – with a woman taken to hospital following a collision on the road last month and a male injured following an incident at the start of November.
