Road Reopens After ‘Serious RTC’ in Coedpoeth

A ‘serious accident’ resulted in the closure of a road in Coedpoeth this evening.

UPDATE: The road has since reopened, with one man being taken to the Maelor with what the ambulance service say are thankfully not life threatening injuries.

Emergency services are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision near the B5430 Talwrn Road, Coedpoeth.

It is believed the collision took place shortly before 6pm this evening, with a car leaving the road between Castle Road and Pentre Fron Road and colliding with a hedge

No other vehicles are believed to be involved in the collision and the extent of any injuries is not yet known.
