Road Reopens After Vehicle Overturns on Chirk Bypass

The Chirk bypass has reopened between Halton Roundabout and Gledrig after it was closed due to an overturned vehicle.

Update: The road has since reopened…

As a result of the incident there are long delays on the A5 in both directions.

Recovery is underway and there are diversions through Chirk at present.
