A road towards Pontfadog is currently blocked following a collision involving a HGV.

Shortly after 5pm this afternoon there were reports of a collision between a HGV and fence on the B4500 near Swan inn Pontfadog.

The road is currently blocked both ways due to ‘the size of the vehicle’.

It is reported that traffic travelling between Glyn Ceiriog and Chirk is affected.

North Wales Police Control Room have since tweeted advising motorists to seek alternative routes.
