North Wales Police are urging house holders to ensure they secure their properties after several reports of burglaries in rural Wrexham.

North Wales Police Inspector Arwyn Jones said “There have been several reports of burglaries in the area of Rossett and Rhos and we would urge residents to be vigilant of anybody acting suspicious in their area. These areas have experienced burglaries at different times of the day, with Rossett experiencing night time offences and the Rhos area offences during the day. Electrical items and jewellery have been targeted and I would urge anybody who has information in relation to these offences or if you have been offered these types of items for sale to contact North Wales Police on 101”

Bersham Bike Theft

Aside from this appeal we were contacted by a Wrexham.com reader who had bikes stolen overnight Wednesday from the Bersham area. They told us “One of the bikes is a cube mountain bike black and the other is a red and black pinarello road bike.”

Again anyone with information is urged to call 101.
