Resurfacing works in the Smithfield Road area of town are set to start this month.

The works will start on Monday 19th August and are expected to last for three weeks.

During this period the road will need to be closed in both directions from 8:30am to 5pm everyday.

Diversions will be in place and the road will remain accessible to residents and businesses only during the day.

Wrexham Council add that the road will be open in the evenings from around 5pm and businesses in the area will be unaffected.
