Police in Wrexham are reminding residents to ensure their sheds and out buildings are fully secured.

The reminder comes after a bicycle was stolen from a shed in Oak Drive, Acton overnight on October 9, with thieves then attempting to break into another shed in the same road.

PC Daniel Rees said: “Witnesses report seeing two suspicious males with a Staffordshire bull terrier dog in gardens in the area. They are possibly using the dog as a ruse to be in the gardens.

“The males have been seen in the early hours of the morning in the Oak Drive and Oswald Way areas of Wrexham.

“I would remind residents to secure their property and to report any suspicious behaviour on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
