Renewed Appeal For Wrexham Teenager Who Has Been Missing Since Last Week

Police have reissued there appeal for help to trace a 17-year-old girl who has been missing from Wrexham since last week.

Farhana Begum was last seen by her family at around 8:30am on Friday June 23rd when she left home to attend college.

She is described as between 5’ 1” and 5’ 3” tall, of medium build with very long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a green-coloured jacket and black leggings and was carrying a large dark holdall bag.

Officers believe she may have travelled to the Manchester, Bradford or Birmingham areas and have now issued a more recent picture of her and a bag which she may be carrying.

Inspector Jackie Downes said: “I am asking Farhana, can you please contact the police to let us know that you are safe. We are concerned for your welfare and need to know that you are ok”.

North Wales Police continue to appeal that anybody with information is asked to contact on 101, or via the live web chat by quoting reference number 18436.
