A reminder has been issued to the public as Wrexham hospital’s emergency department is ‘really busy’ today.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board have said “We continue to urge the public to support NHS Wales’ Choose Well campaign, and visit their GP or call NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47 for advice and treatment of most illnesses.

“Treatment for minor injuries, such as cuts, bites, stings and muscle and joint injuries, can be provided at your local Minor Injuries Unit, where there is no need for an appointment.

“Only dial 999 in a life-threatening emergency, if someone is seriously ill or injured or their life is at risk – remember to keep emergency ambulances for emergencies.”

At the time of writing just after 2pm the last update on the NHS waiting times app is not showing any data, just a note saying “updated over 4 hrs ago”.

Out bot that scrapes that data has this as the last update for its 9am run
