Unsure which bin is due for collection and when? If so you can now register for a weekly email update from Wrexham Council.

Over 5,500 residents in Wrexham have signed up for a weekly email alert which reminds them to put their bin out and also which colour bin.

The email is received the day before collection to give plenty of time to put the correct bin out along with all recyclables ready for collection.

Signing up is quick and easy. Go to www.wrexham.gov.uk/register and sign up by answering just a couple of questions.

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport, said:

“We all lead very busy lives and it’s easy to forget which bin should go out on which evening so this alert is very handy and you can be sure you get it right each time.”

Black boxes for glass are also available who may not have received theirs by emailing [email protected]
