Members of the public interested in finding out more about planned improvements in the town centre, will have the chance to do so at an open event.

In summer 2017 Wrexham Council unveiled plans to invest £270,000 into what was described as “phase one” of an ongoing programme of town centre improvements. This was topped up a few months later when the executive board announced an additional £150,000 of investment.

At the time such improvements were cited as including CCTV, new bins,  street furniture and resurfacing of some town centre streets.

Some aesthetic changes have already started in the town centre, with street lights receiving a spruce up in May 2018 ahead of LED lighting being installed.

Tomorrow members of the public who are interested in finding out more about the proposed improvements can do so at at an event at Tŷ Pawb on Tuesday 17th July between 5pm and 7pm.

During the two hour period there will be a chance to have a look at the planned works in the flexi-space and refreshments will be available.

Staff from contractors DAWNUS Construction Ltd and Wrexham Council will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
