Members of the public are being asked to think twice before using the emergency department in Wrexham this afternoon due to an increased demand.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) say that the emergency department at the hospital is “extremely busy” at present”.
A spokesperson for the health board said: “Patients who do not need full emergency hospital treatment are urged to seek appropriate advice and care from other NHS services, including our minor injuries units, local pharmacists or by calling NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47.”
