Households across Wrexham are starting to receive their voting cards for the December 12th General Election.

If you receive one for someone who isn’t living at your property please write “Not at this Address. Return to Sender” on the card and post it back to the council. There will be no charge for sending it back.

If you aren’t registered to vote have until 11:59pm on 26th November to do so – otherwise you will be unable to cast your vote in the general election.

Registering to vote is very straightforward and takes a few minutes to do – you can do it online by clicking here.

If you want to apply to vote by post, register before:

– 5pm on 26 November if you live in England, Scotland or Wales
– 5pm on 21 November if you live in Northern Ireland

You can view our election coverage – here on where we are starting to collate candidate responses, and soon will have some candidate Q&A videos for you to watch!
