The entrance to a town centre car park was temporarily closed off this afternoon while police responded to an incident.

North Wales Police were seen at the entrance to St Marks Road shortly before 4pm with reports of a person sitting on the roof of the multi-storey car park.

The entrance to St Marks Road was temporarily closed off to the public while officers attended the scene.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “At 3:55pm we were called to St Marks Car Park following concern that someone was on the roof.

“Officers attended and spoke to a local female in her 30s, who after a short conversation was taken to a place of safety.

“We would like to local people for the brief inconvenience caused while officers managed and resolved the situation quickly and professionally. No one was harmed.”
