Police operation sees five arrested on suspicion of being involved in supply of heroin and cocaine

Five people were arrested in Wrexham this morning as part of a co-ordinated operation to disrupt the illegal drugs trade in the area.

Officers struck at addresses in Gwenfro and Allington Drive, resulting in five men being arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of heroin and cocaine.

DI Mark Hughes said; “The latest arrested are part of Operation Loot, an ongoing effort to tackle drug dealing in Wrexham and especially in Caia Park. Five are in custody in Wrexham waiting to be interviewed by officers .

“I would like to thank the local community for their information and cooperation during this operation.”
