A renewed warning has been issued by police after “further reports of a prowler” in a garden in Wrexham.

The incident took place in the Bellevue Park area of the town.

Police are asking residents to remain vigilant and to keep an eye on their property and neighbours properties.

It is the third time that such a warning for the Offa area has been issued in recent months – with reports of a man seen behaving suspiciously back in May.

Last month residents in the Ruabon Road, Poyser Street and Edward Street were once again asked to remain vigilant after reports of a man seen “prowling the area”.

This included an incident at around 1am on Sunday 7th July when a man was seen outside the kitchen window of a house in Edward Street. He fled when seen by the occupant.

Wrexham Town Inspector Vic Powell said that anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact police on 101.

If an emergency residents should dial 999.
