Police have been conducting investigations at a house on Holt Street opposite the People’s Market since the early hours of this morning.

Inspector Paul Wycherley said: “Police were called to an address in Holt Street Wrexham at around 12.10 am today after concerns for a man’s safety.

“A man in his late 20’s was found to be seriously ill and was taken to Wrexham Maelor hospital.

“Officers have been at the scene overnight in attempt to ascertain the circumstance surrounding the incident.”
