Police Helicopter Up Over Wrexham At 5am Catches Motorbike Thieves

In the early hours of this morning Wrexham.com received a number of reports of the police helicopter up over town at 5am.

The helicopter was seen by several tweeters over Rhosddu, Garden Village, Holt Road and Acton.

Brymbo Male Choir said: “North Wales police chopper over Acton around 5am – arrived at full speed, so something was going on.”

Danny Parry (@DanParry86) said: “Police helicopter very low over rhosddu @wrexham just rattled me out of bed!!!”

North Wales Police told us that the helicopter was up in pursuit of a stolen motorbike. Two offenders were arrested and taken into custody.
