Police dog corners four men hiding after short vehicle pursuit

A police dog has been instrumental in catching four people who ran and hid after leaving a suspect vehicle in Wrexham tonight.

Cheshire and North Wales Police dog unit said that a suspect vehicle ‘made off’ from police officers in Wrexham.

After a short pursuit four men decamped, and the police dog was deployed.

The dog, called Fiona, tracked the suspects through a residential area and located them in a rear garden.

Officers added: “One quickly gave himself up when challenged with PD Fiona the others were flushed out & arrested.”
