Police Called to ‘Suspicious Activity’ in Chirk

North Wales Police yesterday were called to a property in Chirk following reports of ‘suspicious activity’.

Officers were yesterday called to a property on Church Street, Chirk regarding suspicious noises and activity in the area.

Several police vehicles were seen in the area, with one person telling Wrexham.com: “What’s happening in the HSBC in Chirk – three police cars and bank employees outside.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police today confirmed they were called to an incident in Chirck at 3:45pm yesterday regarding reports of ‘suspicious activity’.

An investigation in the area was carried out, however nothing untoward was discovered.
