Police Called To Suspect Package At Aldi Car Park

A supermarket car park was briefly closed this afternoon following reports that a ‘suspicious’ package had been found.

The ‘suspicious package’ / suitcase was found on the Aldi car park on Plas Coch shortly after 1pm this afternoon.

Lesley Kenton tweeted Wrexham.com to say that police were ‘sealing off the area’.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said they had received a call regarding a suspicious suitcase at Aldi.

However the suitcase was found to be empty and police are now trying to locate the owner.
