Police appeal to trace missing teenager who could be in the Wrexham area

Merseyside Police have issued a missing persons appeal to help trace a teenager who is missing from home.

Leighton Candeland, 17, was last seen in the Egremont Promenade area of Wirral on Saturday, 27 June.

He is described as a white male, around 5ft 11in tall, of slim build with short brown curly hair.

When last seen, Leighton was wearing a Rab jacket, a white t-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

He is known to frequent areas of the Wirral.

Merseyside Police say is also believed he may have travelled to the Shropshire area or Wrexham in North Wales.

Leighton, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or charity @missingpeople on 116 000.
