Police appeal following attempted armed robbery in Caia Park

North Wales Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an attempted robbery at a shop in the Caia Park area.

Last night (Monday 19th March) a woman, armed with a knife and wearing a pair of tights over her head, entered the Co-op store in Prince Charles Road, Caia Park just after 10pm and demanded the contents of the till, but fled empty handed in a silver grey taxi.

The woman is described as being in her 20’s with blond hair, large build and was wearing a grey jumper and black jogging bottoms.

No one was hurt during the incident.

*Moments before incident below, the suspect walked into the Hungry Inn takeaway next door to the Co-Op and demanded cash, but left empty handed almost immediately and went to the Co-op.
