Police Appeal After Man Seriously Injured In Caia Park

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injuries in a motorbike incident on Queensway in Caia Park in the early hours of this morning.

The man sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle collision. It is believed he fell off a motorcycle in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The emergency services were alerted to the incident in a field next to the Queensway Sports Centre in Caia Park Wrexham by a member of the public, who found the injured man at 1.47am this morning.

The local man, aged 20 was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital and later transferred to a specialist unit in Stoke where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

DS Anne Louise Jones said; “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident of may have information that will assist us in our investigation to contact North Wales Police on 101.”
