A number of people have contacted us today regarding police activity in the Pentre Broughton area.

Shortly before 8:45am this morning we were contacted via Twitter by one user saying there were ‘police all over Pentre Broughton’.

Cat later contacted us just after midday saying there were several police cars and forensics in the area.

A spokesperson from North Wales Police told Wrexham.com the police activity was due to a drug arrest.

A 24-year-old local male was arrested in Pentre Broughton on suspicion of drug offences. He was interviewed at a police station and bailed until a later date.
