Police Activity in Crescent Close Explained

A male has been taken to hospital after a number of emergency services vehicles were seen near Crescent Road earlier this afternoon.

At around 12:30pm this afternoon there were reports of police activity around the Crescent Road / Crescent Close area of Wrexham – with several police vehicles and an ambulance seen in the area.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.23pm to an address on Crescent Close in Wrexham. We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and a High Dependency Service vehicle to the scene. A male was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police confirmed that police activity around the Crescent Close area was due to ‘concern for safety’.
