Plans have been put forward to convert a property into a HMO for six people.

In an application submitted to Wrexham Council it has been proposed that a house on Albert Street, Hightown is changed from a dwelling (Class C3) to a House Multiple Occupation (HMO).

Currently the property is described as being a three bedroom, two reception, one bathroom, two storey terrace house built circa end of the 19th century.

If the application is approved the house will be converted into a six bedroom HMO, with each bedroom having its own private en-suite.

Details about the redevelopment in the application’s design and access statement explain that the ground floor will have three bedrooms and a shared kitchen, while the first bedroom will have three bedrooms.

There are no extensions or external alterations proposed for the property.

The application is expected to be considered by Wrexham Council’s planning committee at a later date.
