Residents in Penycae are to be consulted on whether to remove road humps in the village.

The traffic calming measures have been removed temporarily on Stryt Issa whilst Wrexham Council carries out roadworks.

However, the authority has said they will be consulting residents on whether to remove them completely once the works are completed.

A spokesperson for Wrexham Council said: “The road is being resurfaced so the speed humps will be removed. Over the next 21 says residents in the area will be consulted on whether they want them putting back or not.”

We decided to throw the debate open to people on our Wrexham.com forums and @wrexham Twitter account on whether they would like to have a similar option.
