Penycae raid recovers drugs, cash and imitation firearm

Wrexham Rural Police have conducted a drug warrants at a property in Penycae earlier today recovering drugs and cash an imitation firearm.

Police say two people were arrested and the individuals are “helping” them with enquiries.

A second warrant was also executed at a property in Ponciau in Rhos.

Police said of the Rhos operation, “At this time they recovered a significant quantity of controlled drugs, cash and evidence to support illegal supply.”

“Two further arrests have been made as a result.”

Local police added, “This second warrant evidences our commitment to address drug issues in our communities and target those who exploit others for significant personal gain.”
