Pensioner Wins Luxury Cruise at Wrexham Bingo Hall

A lucky pensioner is due to set sail after scooping a luxury Caribbean cruise for two after winning big at a Wrexham bingo hall.

Rosemary Anne Jones, 73, from Ellesmere won the luxury holiday as part of Mecca Bingo Wrexham’s Everyone’s a Winner promotion currently running in clubs, whereby every member receives a free scratch card when swiping in.

Commenting on her win, Rosemary Anne said: “I couldn’t believe my luck, so much so I didn’t tell a soul for just under a week! I’ve been playing bingo at Wrexham for as long as I can remember, sometimes seven days a week. Bingo certainly brings friends together; we even used to plan UK holidays depending where the nearest Mecca club was situated!

“I’d like to say a massive thank you to Mecca – it just goes to show that anyone can win a great prize, so long as they’re in it to win it.”
