Hundreds of people gathered in the town centre this morning to take part in the annual St David’s Day parade.

Crowds gathered in the sunshine this morning to watch the parade march through the town, and aside from some confusion over where the parade actually began and ended, (plus reports of some questionable fashion choices!) the morning went off without a hitch.

The parade was full of locals, music and community groups, schools and scouts.

On Queen’s Square there was a Welsh food market, selling a wide variety of Welsh produce, including cheeses, cider, beer, and a selection of cakes and sweets.
