We’re told the incident has taken place outside near the church on Southsea Road and a vehicle have overturned on its roof.

Darryl told us: “Accident at the junction at the bottom of Southsea Hill. Don’t go down there you’ll have to turn round. Emergency services are there, one car is on its roof.”

Julie said: “Bad accident by Southsea Church, car overturned in the road. Hope the driver is ok.”

There are unconfirmed reports a second black vehicle was involved, that has left the scene of the incident.

More information when we have it.
