Wrexham based North Wales Crusaders are taking further steps to develop a player pathway as their under 12’s side secured back-to-back victories in their debut games.

The club, who play their home games at the Queensway Stadium, are building both on and off the field with commercial developments running alongside the building of a player pathway.

With the recent launch of a reserve side as well as the development of several youth age groups, the latest side to take to the field was the under 12’s.

Under the supervision of youth coach Allen Jones, the young Crusaders have made an impressive start, securing back-to-back victories over established opponents Thatto Heath Crusaders and Rylands Tiger Sharks.

Speaking about the recent development, North Wales Crusaders CEO Andy Moulsdale said: “As the club moves forward off the field, we’re focused on continuing the growth of our commercial activity and player development.

“The successful start that our under 12’s side has made is credit to the hard work put in by Allen Jones as well as the other community staff.

“Below the first-team we now have a reserve side and several age groups including a ‘minis’ section.

“Whilst things will take time, we want to have everything in place to produce a successful player pathway, and the launch of the under 12’s is just the latest development in that.”
