This Sunday’s game between North Wales Crusaders and London Skolars at the Queensway Stadium, Wrexham, will be the club’s first ever community match day.

Having moved to the Queensway Stadium during the off-season, the Crusaders have been working hard to strengthen their links within the community including having a number of youth age groups training and playing at the stadium.

As part of the community match day, the club are offering free entry for emergency services*, NHS*, armed forces* and children up to the age of 16.

The day will begin at 11:00am as the Crusaders under 18’s play their final home game of the season against Chorley Panthers.

Following that the first team will look to extend their unbeaten run to five games as they host London Skolars at 2:30pm.

Parking at the stadium is free with food outlets and a bar open from 12:00pm.

Entrance fees are £10 adults, £5 concessions and free for emergency services, NHS, armed forces and under 16’s.

Crusaders general manager, Andy Moulsdale, said: “I’m looking forward to what will hopefully be a fantastic day at the Queensway Stadium on Sunday.

“We’ve settled into the stadium well and there is a fantastic atmosphere around the ground on match days.

“Sunday is a fantastic opportunity for us to give something back to the community with free entry for emergency services, NHS, armed forces and under 16’s.”

*Proof of your employment must be shown in order to gain free entry.
