Members of the public are advised that the North Stairwell of the People’s Market will be temporarily closed to the public due to repainting works.

The work, which begins today, is expected to take two weeks to complete.

During the work the upper floors of the Peoples Market car park will remain accessible via the South Stairwell and elevators during this time. Notices will be in place directing members of the public to other access.

Businesses in the South Arcade are unaffected by these works and remain open and trading as usual.

Once work is complete on the North Stairwell, contractors will start repainting work on the South Stairwell.

Wrexham Council says it apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
