North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) are looking for volunteers to become members of the team.

NEWSAR will hold an open evening for potential new volunteers on Wednesday 22nd April at 19:30 at a location near Mold.

Prospective candidates to join the team can use this as an opportunity to meet existing team members and ask questions about what it is like to volunteer to assist people in need of rescue.

The two hour session will also allow them to see NEWSAR practice some of the skills that are needed.

To find out more about NEWSAR, the work the team does, the qualities and skills team members need and to register to attend the open evening, please follow this link to the NEWSAR webpage with further details.

Information is also available on the News page of the NEWSAR website, www.newsar.org.uk.

Anybody unable to attend the open evening but interested in joining the Team will still be able to apply by completing an application form which will be available on the NEWSAR website from the 23rd of April.
