No water after burst on major trunk main affects north of Wrexham area

Update 10:15am: Dee Valley Water say: “Dee Valley Water engineers have repaired a large diameter burst water main suppling Rossett, Lavister, Pulford, Kinnerton, Eccleston, Saighton, Common Wood, Holt, Farndon, Aldford & Churton Following this repair some customer may experience discoloured water, please run your cold kitchen supply till clear. We apologise for the disruption & thank you for your understanding.”

Water supplies are being affected in parts of Wrexham and north across the border into England due to a burst main late last night.

Nathan told us: “Water is off in Pulford, Dodleston, Lavister and Rossett”.

Update: Dee Valley Water say “We have a burst on a major trunk main which will affect supplies to Holt,Farndon,Rossett,Lavister,Pulford,Dodleston and surrounding areas.

“Plans are being put in place for its repair overnight. We hope shortly to introduce alternative supplies into the area which should restore supplies. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.”

The incident is logged at 11:30pm via Dee Valley Water.

Dee Valley Water say: “Reports are coming in of a loss of supply in and around the area of Pulford, an engineer has been deployed to investigate”.
