No ‘Posthouse’ A483 / A55 Roadworks Over Easter
On a day that has seen another cock up with traffic lights on the A483 roadworks, there is at least some good news!
Earlier today the temporary lights were again left on red, reminding us of a few weeks ago of a similar situation where the engineers were stuck in the resulting jams themselves. Even after the fix was put in place, traffic was still queuing well back across the border throughout the day.
Later this afternoon the Highways Agency released their Easter present, giving the following information…
Tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) between 9:00pm and 5:00am, there will be a total closure of the A483 north and southbound between the A55 and the B5102. In addition, there will be a total closure of the A55 Junction 38 westbound exit slip road on the night of Monday 30 March 2015 between 9:00pm and 5:00am.
There will be no roadworks over the Easter period.
On the night of Tuesday 7 April 2015 the west side of the A55/A483 roundabout will be closed, including a closure of the A483 southbound and the A55 Junction 38 westbound exit slip, from 9:00pm to 5:00am. In addition, there will be a total closure of the east and westbound carriageway of the A55 between the access and exit slip roads.
On the nights of Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 April 2015, between 8:00pm and 5:00am, there will be a total closure of the A55 eastbound exit slip road.
On the nights of Friday 10 and Saturday 11 April 2015, between 8:00pm and 7:00am, there will be a total closure of the A55 east and westbound between the access and exit slip roads.
Each night from Sunday 11 until Thursday 16 April 2015, between 8:00pm and 5:00am, there will be a total closure of the A55 east and westbound between the access and exit slip roads.
On the nights of Friday 17 and Saturday 18 April 2015, between 8:00pm and 7:00am, there will be a total closure of the A55 east and westbound between the access and exit slip roads.
