Land ‘adjacent to the Red Lion Public House’ is proposed to become a convenience store in plans submitted to Wrexham Council.
Marston Estates Ltd have placed the planning application for the new build on the current pub car park on the top of Marford Hill. There are no plans to alter the pub and Marston’s plans state it will be ‘retained’.
Currently the site is a car park with 40 parking spaces, with 12 being lost in this development.
The proposed 382sqm development will apparently be ‘in keeping with the existing pub yet create a contemporary design’.
