One of Wrexham’s most popular parks will play host to an evening of live music and entertainment this week for the penultimate concert of the summer.

Billy Thompson, a North Wales-based gypsy style band, will bring music to your ears on Friday July 21st when they take to the stage at the Bellvue Park Bandstand for this week’s ‘Music in the Park’ performance.

The band gives classic jazz a different twist, playing songs in ‘gypsy jazz’ style – perfect listening for those hazy summer evenings!

Hosted by the Friends of Bellevue in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, the Music in the Park concerts all take place from the Edwardian Bandstand in the award winning park, which is situated close to Wrexham Town Centre.

The concerts have become a popular summer event for Wrexham, with many people bringing along a picnic to Bellevue Park to enjoy the summer evenings listening to live music.

So far artists such as Luke Gallagher, Thunderbugs and Dinosaur have entertained the crowds during this summer’s run of concerts.

This week is the penultimate concert of the summer, with Wall St Krash performing in Bellevue Park on Friday 28th July.

The concerts are free to the public and will be staged on each of five Friday nights between 7pm and 9pm.
