A multi car crash closed the southbound A483 between Pulford and Rossett for around an hour this evening.

The southbound carriageway was closed off for traffic after four cars were involved in an incident.

The bypass reopened just before 9:30pm after recovery took place.

Bad weather has continued in the area during the later period of today and into the evening causing poor driving conditions on roads. At one point the A483 was down to a 40mph crawl as people adjusted their speed down to the road conditions.

The crash on the bypass follows an earlier incident on the A5 south of Wrexham by the Lion Quays, and an incident in Newbridge which closed roads as well.

Another incident occurred by Rhosnesni Lane, pictured above, with Micheal telling us there was an “ambulance with people in, two police cars blocking off road, two cars middle of road with damage to front of each”.
