Motorists Urged To Security Mark Their Catalytic Converter

Motorists in Wrexham are being urged to security mark their vehicle’s catalytic converters.

North Wales Police are urging 4×4 motorists in Wrexham to security mark the catalytic converters on their vehicles and they are offering the first 50 marking kits free of charge.

PC Dave Allmark said: “North Wales Police are offering Catalytic Converter Security Marking kits to the owners of 4×4 vehicles in the Wrexham area. This is in response to recent thefts from motor vehicles where 4×4 vehicles have been specifically targeted.

“The first 50 kits issued will be free of charge. Thereafter they can be purchased at just £5.00 including fitting, from our approved partners, Minera Tyres & Exhausts.
