A motorcyclist was injured this evening after their bike collided with a car on Ruabon Road.

Dave Rowlands sent us the above picture shortly after 7pm saying a scooter had collided with car outside the Oak Tree on Ruabon Road.

Emergency services have since said a motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following the collision.

Joanna Kinch tweeted us around 7pm saying similar, and adding the road was at a standstill with ambulance & police cars in attendance.

There is no update on the condition on the motorcyclist.
