A downpour hit the area this afternoon with thunder and lightning, with one person making the most of it on Wynnstay Avenue!

One person in Caia made the most of the downpour and flood that resulted by very quickly getting a small inflatable boat out and having a row around.

UPDATE: The rowing was interrupted by bus, daring to drive down a road…

Lightning strikes were recorded in the town centre, with one hitting very close to Waterworld.

Within an hour the downpour had ceased and blue skies had returned – however Wynnstay Avenue has temporarily been rebranded as Swimmstay Avenue..

Thanks to Mark and Sapphire for sending us the videos of the mystery rower of Caia!
