Man taken to hospital in serious condition after town centre ‘fall’

An elderly man was taken to hospital after what has been described as a ‘fall’ in the town centre earlier today.

The incident occurred close to the old BHS store on Henblas Street just after midday.

The Welsh Ambulance Service told us “We were called at approximately 12.15pm this afternoon to reports of a medical emergency on Henblas Street, Wrexham.”

“We sent two crews in emergency ambulances and a man was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital in a serious condition.”
