Man Cut Free From Car Following Two Vehicle Collision

A man has been cut free from his vehicle following a collision which left a road closed for several hours.

Earlier this evening Wrexham.com reported that the A525 between Bowkers Lane, between Redbrook and Whitewell was closed both ways due to a two vehicle collision.

North Wales Police, land and air ambulance four fire appliances from Shropshire including the Rescue Tender attended the scene.

One male who was trapped in his vehicle was cut free by fire crews. There are no details on the extent of his injuries.

The road has since reopened.
